Barbara's Spanish Woes

The actor's followers on her micro-blogging account are apparently decreasing because of her habit of posting most messages in Spanish

Actor Barbara Mori is losing many of her fans in India because of a strange reason - the language barrier. The actor, who is active on the micro-blogging site Twitter, posts most of her tweets in Spanish. This causing a lot of followers to un-follow her as they cannot understand the language.

A former unit member of Kites says, "Barbara is steadily losing out on her Indian fan base because she has been tweeting in Spanish constantly. A lot of Indian fans that she created during the run-up to Kites have started to un-follow her. Hence, you will see her fanbase on Twitter constantly fluctuating."

A quick check on Barbara's Twitter account reveals that the actor had tweeted 219 times (as on the morning on June 23) since April and sadly out of them only 55 are in English. The rest are in Spanish.

"Earlier, many of her fans had complained that they could not understand her tweets. But the complaints have stopped now," adds the source. So does it mean people in India have stopped caring about Barbara anymore?
