Find your friends in a new city

Select the name of a city and Facebook will show you a list of your contacts who live there

You are in a new city and you'd like to know if any of your Facebook friends also live around there. Now, you could always do this by sending a Facebook message (or an email) to all your friends. Or you could try a simpler option.

Open your Facebook page and under 'Account', select 'Edit Friends'. Then click the 'Browse' option and you'll see a drop-down that says 'Browse by' - select ' City here and you'll see a list of the cities where your Facebook friends currently are. Select the name of a city and Facebook will show you a list of all contacts who have listed that as their current location.

There's another way by which you can find the current city of all your Facebook friends in a jiffy. Go to bing.com/maps and switch to the 'US Edition' of Bing maps Assuming that you have the Silverlight plugin on your browser, switch to the new version of Bing Maps and under Map App, select the one that says 'My Friends.'

Now connect your Facebook account with Bing by pressing the 'Facebook Connect' button and within a minute or so, you'll see the profile pictures of all your Facebook Friends on the world map. Zoom in to any location to see all the People who are in that area.

You can also click on the picture pin on any Facebook friend on Bing Maps and write on his/her wall with out leaving the Bing Maps application.
