Amin Solkar, the senior criminal lawyer who will defend convicted Pakistani gunman Ajmal Kasab in the Bombay high court, has received a threat text message from Munna Tripathi, the chief of Uttar Bhartiya Vikash Parishad in Mumbai.
"You will have to pay a price if you fight a case in favour of Kasab, Remember, this is an insult of the nation," said the SMS from Tripathi to Solkar and his assistant Farhana Shah on Friday. Meanwhile, aviation sector sources have said that terror groups are planning to hijack a flight to get the Pakistani terrorist freed. Interestingly, special judge ML Tahaliyani had made a similar comment while delivering the verdict against Kasab. "We have to do fast proceedings as we cannot afford another plane hijacking he had said.
