Fitness on blogs

Lately, I've been on a fitness kick. And I've never felt so good. It got me thinking about how an exercise newbie could use the Internet to maximise her workout potential. I did a Google search to see what I could come up with. I'm not going to a gym for weigh loss, so I eliminated blogs that dealt with that. One blog I came across was Fitness Black Book (http://fitnessblackbook.com/) with the tagline: Advanced Tips Your Personal Trainer Doesn't Know. I found all sorts of interesting stuff, including questions like: are you just have a high pain to tolerance? The author tells you not to become gym obsessed, to skip a workout if you're planning on going for a walk, and to not spend your life constantly worrying.

Widget hunting

Then I looked up widgets for my blog to see if the gym was having any effect. I soon stumbled upon Fitlink (tagline: Stay motivated, inspire others and their list if fitness related widgets (http://www.fitlink.com/widgets). I found some interesting one ls like 'Locate A Gym' or 'Find A Workout Partner' but nothing located in India. Then I went to Widgetbox and did a search for ones related to fitness. I found loads, but the most interesting ones were Yoga Journal Pose Of The Day (http;//www.widgetbox.com/widget/yoga-journal-pose-of-the-day) and Running Rocks! (to calculate how much of your favourite snack you've burnt off during a run: http://www.widgetbox.co,/widget/runninggrokds-calculator).
