Home minister RR Patil has gone the e-way by registering himself on the social networking site Facebook, by creating a twitter identity and going a step ahead by creating his personal blog that can be accessed at www.aabapatil.wordpress.com.
"I want to directly communicate with people and want them to talk to me and give suggestions and respond to my opinions," said Patil after the chief mister Ashok Chavan inaugurated his blog and Facebook page at Sahyadri state guest house on Sunday.
The second blog on Patil's blog goes straight to the point saying it was misinterpretation of a statement that cost him his job after the 26/11 terror attacks, and that is why he wants to sought direct communication now.
The home minister who is known to be not so gadget friendly, one never even sees him attending his own phone and his messages are mostly monosyllables, is not going to operate any of this on his own.
"I have two people whom I have appointed to take care of all this. The opinions given will be all mine, but it will be done through them," he said.
